Mount Fansipan trekking 2 days
Climbing for 2 days to the top of Fansipan in Sapa is a great adventure. Enjoy the trekking and reach the summit at your own pace.
Day 1Start trekking and overnight camp
The day starts at 9:00 am, when your guide and driver pick you up by car and drive 15 km to the starting point. At the Park Ranger’s station you will start your hike up to Mount Fansipan. During this climb, you learn and observe about the local cardamon trees; the use they have for this local area.
Local birds can also be seen throughout this complete walk. As you reach the height of 2,200 meter, there is a break with picnic lunch.
After lunch the trekking goes up to 2,800 meter, with some spectacular views along the way.
After setting up camp for the night, dinner is cooked on the campfire. Ready to unwind from the day, you will find yourself sleeping soundly, while nestled in among the rugged beauty of the mountains.
Day 2To the summit and back to Sapa
You wake up around 6:30 am – 7:00 am for breakfast, before doing the final ascent to the summit of Fansipan Mountain.
Around 10.00-10.30 am you can celebrate the achievement of reaching the summit. At 3,142 meters you have great views over the mountain landscape and Sapa town. Take your time to admire the beautiful views, admiring its thick green forestry landscape and make some great pictures, before descending again.
At 2,800 meters you enjoy a picnic lunch, around 1:30 pm. When you feel ready for the last part, you start trekking down to Tram Ton Pass at 2,000 meter, where a driver is waiting to transfer you back to Sapa town.
Your tour ends with a soothing herbal medicine bath or foot massage.
