Located just North-East of Hoi An ancient town, Cua Dai beach is one of the most tourists’ favorite beaches offering a perfect getaway from the touristic streets of Hoi An. You will find there are plenty of resorts, bungalows and beach bars along the coastline which extends north to Da Nang city. The place was, and still is, becoming more and more of a tourist hub in the next few years. Although, there are still some serene sandy beach parts unexplored; an ideal spot to discover around on 2 wheels.
From the coastline, on a clear day, Cham Island can be seen from a distance. If you visit the beach early at the sunset time, you can experience the daily bustling morning with plenty of boats preparing for a fishing trip before their catch of the day later are sold to the restaurants in town. It is not so difficult to find your own spot on the sandy beach since the place is big enough for everyone. Water sports such as kayaking, kite surfing, wind surfing are also available for entertainment. The beach is worth visiting if you are looking for a quick getaway from Hoi An. However, the place seem to be swarmed with local tourists during the weekend, although, there are a few nice music events offered by the bars nearby. The best time to visit Cua Dai beach is from April to August when the beach is safe to swim.
On the street there are numerous small shops offering bikinis and beachwear. Also a few tailors have settled here. Near the beach is a well stocked A Mart. There is everything here, from coffee to everyday items to wine from Dalat. A bit closer to the bridge is a small local mini market, with also many products. Right on the beach, in front of the village, there are some nice restaurant
