North of Hoi An lies an amazing complex of caves and temples in the marble cliffs next to the ocean. These Marble mountains are a great opportunity to explore by foot, and learn more about this unusual and impressive cultural site.
In the morning you get picked up from your hotel and driver around 30 to 45 minutes north. When you arrive at the Marble Mountains you will climb a staircase up, leading to Linh Ung Pagoda.
From here you can discover numerous caves, temples and amazing viewpoints, with scenic views over the area and coast below.
This impressive cave complex was being used by guerilla fighters during the Vietnamese War.
After a couple of hours hiking around the complex, it is time for a snack.
Before going back to Hoi An, you make a stop at the Cham Museum, just a 15 minute drive. A lot artifact, including statues from My Son Sanctuary were collected and displayed in this Cham Museum in Da Nang.
