Eco tour & cooking class in Hoi An
This is the perfect tour if you want to learn more about the culture and food in Hoi An. It includes a boat cruise over the Thu Bon River, a basket boat ride, cooking course and a visit to Hoi An Market.

Your morning or afternoon tour starts with a pick up by a local tour guide at your hotel in Hoi An.
The first stop will be Hoi An Market, around half an hour drive. Experience the bustle of the morning market and take the opportunity to have a direct contact with market sellers. Your guide will give you some tips for bargaining when you want to do some shopping. During your market walk, the tour guide will introduce you the necessary ingredients for the cooking class later that day.
Next you will enjoy a lovely scenic sightseeing cruise by boat along the Thu Bon River and Cua Dai. On the river you see the beauty of Hoi An’s countryside, the traditional way of catching fish and the lives of the fishermen here.
After that you switch to a basket boat and ride through the canals of the Bay Mau Coconut Forest. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the nipa palm forest and enjoy crab fishing by basket boat ride.
When done with the basket boat ride, you join a local Vietnamese folk game “Bit mat dap noi”.
After your eco-tour activities, you are welcomed in the restaurant and join the cooking class with local chefs. The cooking class takes around 2 hours. In this time, the chefs will teach you how to cook Vietnamese food and share useful information about Vietnamese cultural cuisine.
Now it is time to enjoy your own cooked Vietnamese food.
Finally, you will be brought back to your hotel in Hoi An.
