Mount Fansipan trekking 3 days
Doing 3 days of trekking to the top of Fansipan, Sapa’s highest mountain, is relaxing and breathtaking. Get back to nature and enjoy the wild mountain without rushing.
Day 1Start trekking
Your 3 day trekking to up Fansipan mountain starts at 9:00 am in Sapa. You will meet your guide and driver, before being transferred by car to the start of your climb. You start your climb of Fansipan mountain at 2000 meter.
Throughout this climb, you learn more about the local plants, trees, birds and other animals living in this area. Around 2200 meter high, you can relax for a bit and have a picnic lunch.
After lunch the trekking goes up to 2,800 meter, with some spectacular views on the way. After setting up camp for the night, dinner is cooked on the campfire. Time to unwind from you day of hiking and ready for sleeping soundless on the rugged beauty that the countryside has to offer.
Day 2Summit
Wake up for breakfast around 6:30 am and 7:00 am.
After breakfast you undertake the final ascent to the very top of Fansipan Mountain. Between 10:00 am and 10:30 am you reaches the 3,142 meter high top and can celebrate your achievement. Take your time to enjoy the panoramic views and make some great pictures.
After enjoying the remarkable views, you commence the descent to 2,800 meter and enjoy a picnic lunch around 1:30 pm.
Next you trek back down to 2,200 meter and set up our camp for the night. Enjoy a hot dinner as you sit around the campfire cooking together and drift off into a well-earned sleep after an eventful day.
Day 3Back to Sapa
Today you can enjoy a well-deserved lie-in, and waking up around 7.30 am for breakfast. As this is the last day of your tour, you walk at a gentle pace down to Sin Chai, a Black Hmong village situated at the foot of Mount Fansipan. Here you meet your driver and get transferred back by car to Sapa town.
Your tour ends with a refreshing herbal medicine bath or foot massage.
