Explore the area around Sapa with two easy trekkings through the valley. Enjoy scenic views of the beautiful rice fields and local minority villages and stay overnight in a hotel. In your free time you can walk around the town of Sapa and visit the market, church and other sights.
06:30 – 06:45: Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi and depart to Sapa.
9:30: On the way to Lao Cai city you will make a stop for breakfast.
13:00: Arrive at Sapa, walk through the town and see the colorful traditional costumes of minorities. Enjoy a lunch of local Vietnamese dishes.
14:30: Make a short trekking to Cat Cat village, home of the Black H’mong ethnic people, located at the bottom of a valley at the foot of Fansipan Mountain.
Your local guide will tell you more about the daily life of the locals.
Next you trek to the bottom of the valley to a waterfall, where the French built a hydraulic power station.
Take your time to make photos, before you walk back uphill, where the bus waits for you to bring you back to Sapa. The trek is around 2.5 kilometers and lasts for 2 hours.
17:00: Back in Sapa, you will get some recommendations for good local restaurants for your dinner and will stay overnight in a hotel.
07:00 – 07:45: Have breakfast at your hotel and make yourself ready for a light trekking.
08:00: A short drive brings you to Y Linh Ho. From here you start trekking through the rice terraces and along the Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai.
Enjoy the amazing landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain, before going to Ta Van village, home of the Dzay People. The trek takes around 3.5 hours and is about 9 kilometers long.
11:30: At Ta Van Bridge a bus will bring you back to Sapa.
12:00 – 15:00: Take a shower at your hotel, check out and have lunch. The rest of the time left you can spend on your own to walk around the town.
15:00: Meet the rest of your group at the hotel to prepare for your return to Hanoi.
15:15: Get back on the bus to go back to Hanoi. During this drive there are 2 stops for a break.
21:00: Arrive back at your accommodation in Hanoi.
