Things to do in Hanoi

Hanoi is Vietnam’s cultural center: Famous for its colonial heart, colorful markets, unique theater performances and countless museums and temples. In lively Hanoi there is always something to do and experience. In the cozy old town you can stroll, shop and eat and in the rest of this pleasant city there is a lot to see and do. Take a dip in Vietnam’s famous past, visit a water puppet show or go for a day out.

As one of the few cities, Hanoi has not been heavily damaged during the war and most of the truly beautiful buildings are still in tact. You can find the French style back in lots of things (baguette is everywhere for sale) and in combination with typical Vietnamese life, this makes Hanoi a love for the eye and heart.

A great way to explore this city is doing a city tour. You can do a walking tour or jump on the back of a motorbike and drive around like the locals do. Not to miss highlights are Hoan Kiem lake, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, temple of literature and the Old Quarter. A day on the street in Hanoi you have to experiece once. Eat the best pho from Vietnam, mix yourself in the chaotic traffic and
