The Da Nang Cathedral is located on Tran Phu Street. The church was built for the French residents of Da Dang in 1923 and is now the most important prayer house for the approximately 5,000 Catholics in the city. The most interesting part of this white pinkish building are the stained-glass windows with images of saints, including Saint Francis Xavier and Jeanne d’Arc. On the site of the cathedral is a nunnery monastery.
